Ben’s Animals – Advance Screening (All Ages)

Join us for an exclusive advance screening of the documentary Ben’s Animals at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa on June 22, 2025.

🎬 Ben’s Animals, directed by veteran filmmaker Evan Beloff, follows 23-year-old autistic Canadian artist Benjamin Lachapelle and his devoted mother, Julie. Through vibrant artwork and advocacy, Benjamin shares his passion for protecting endangered animals and confronting climate change. His story is one of love, resilience, and purpose — offering inspiration to neurodiverse communities and beyond.

🚌 A chartered bus will depart from Laurentian Regional High School at 1:00 p.m. and return by 9:30 p.m.
🍽 A light meal will be served before the screening.

Event Schedule:

  • 1:00 p.m. — Departure from LRHS (448 boul. Argenteuil, Lachute)
  • 3:00 p.m. — Arrival in Ottawa + light meal
  • 5:30 p.m. — Doors open
  • 6:00 p.m. — Film screening (50 min) + Q&A (15 min)
  • 7:15 p.m. — Cocktail/social hour in the Stone Wall Gallery
  • 8:30 p.m. — Departure from Ottawa
